WHEAT RIDGE, CO – A suspected drunk driver set off a truck accident Friday morning, June 11, that killed two people in Jefferson County, Colorado. The deadly collision occurred in the Denver metro region on Interstate 70 west of Kipling Street, in the suburb of Wheat Ridge. The accident area is in the central north section of the state, about 120 miles north of Pueblo, CO and about 102 miles south of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Local emergency personnel responded to the scene of the truck accident. Mr. Baek was fatally injured when he was hit after stepping out of his Volvo and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The events leading up to the fatal truck accident began at around 2:45 a.m. Friday morning when a black Nissan crashed into a parked car on Everett Street in Wheat Ridge and then fled the scene. The Nissan lost one of its license plates and police matched the plate and issued a bulletin. SISSONVILLE, WV – A rollover semi truck accident closed a highway for a couple hours Wednesday in Kanawha County, West Virginia. The single truck accident occurred on Interstate 77 in the town of Sissonville, just north of the Charleston, WV metro region. The area is in the southwest section of the state, about 75 miles south of Marietta, Ohio and about 122 miles northeast of Pikeville, Kentucky.

The truck accident left the tanker lying across all northbound lanes of the interstate.
At around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, June 9, an unidentified truck driver was traveling north on Interstate 77 in Kanawha County, West Virginia. GREENE COUNTY, OH – A semi trailer truck loaded with gallons of milk rolled over early Monday morning, June 7, 2010, on a highway in Greene County, Ohio. The single vehicle truck accident occurred on US 68, north of Ohio State Route 235, between the towns of Xenia and Yellow Springs. The accident area is just east of the Dayton metro region in the southwest section of the state, about 59 miles west of Columbus, OH and about 60 miles north of Cincinnati, OH.

The truck driver was able to get out of the cab of his rig after the truck accident. Emergency personnel treated him at the scene and transported him to Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia, OH.
Shortly before 4:00 a.m. Monday morning an unidentified 48 year old truck driver was traveling through Greene County, OH, driving a semi trailer truck south on US 68. The 18 wheeler was filled with gallons of milk and is owned by Reiter Dairy. Reiter Dairy is based in Springfield, OH. ... Read More
HERCULANEUM, MO – A chain reaction truck accident killed two people and injured three others Wednesday afternoon, June 2, 2010, in Jefferson County, Missouri. The deadly collision occurred on Interstate 55 at McNutt Road near the city of Herculaneum and would involve a total of eight vehicles. The accident area is on the eastern edge of the state, south of the St. Louis metro region near the Mississippi River, about 187 miles north of Blytheville, Arkansas and about 37 miles west of Waterloo, Illinois.

Missouri Highway Patrol and the Herculaneum Fire Department responded to the scene of the multi vehicle truck accident. They found the Focus almost completely destroyed, the Fire Captain saying that “It looked like scrap metal.”
At around 12:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon 32 year old Jay L. Valentine of Huntsville, Texas was driving a semi trailer truck north in the right lane of Interstate 55 in Jefferson County, Missouri. HASTINGS, FL – A mother was killed Tuesday morning, June 8, in a truck accident in St. John’s County, Florida. The deadly collision, which also injured two children, occurred at the intersection of State Road 206 and State Road 207 in the city of Hastings, FL. The area is in the northeast section of the state, about 105 miles north of Orlando, FL and about 175 miles southeast of Valdosta, Georgia.

St. John’s County Fire Rescue and emergency personnel responded to the truck accident and worked to extricate the three victims from the crushed car. It would take two heavy rescue teams to get the mother and children out of the Pontiac.
Shortly after 7:30 a.m. 25 year old Lindsey Wood was driving a 2002 red Pontiac Grand Am north on State Road 207, reportedly at a high rate of speed. Ms. Woods had her two children in the car with her, 3 year old Abigal Underwood and 6 year old Caleb Underwood. ATLANTA, GA – A young child died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, when the parked car he was in was hit by an out of control semi trailer truck in Fulton County, Georgia. The fatal truck accident occurred in an Auto Zone store’s parking lot in Atlanta, GA, just off the Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. The area is in the north central section of the state, about 147 miles east of Birmingham, Alabama and about 119 miles south of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Crews were brought in to remove the wreckage of the damaged cars and semi truck. A Haz-Mat team was also at the site to clean up fuel that spilled from the 18 wheeler after the truck accident.
The events leading to the truck accident began around noon on Tuesday on the Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in northwest Atlanta. A semi trailer truck was driving on the parkway when a white car going in the opposite direction reportedly lost control and crossed over into the 18 wheeler’s path and hit it nearly head-on. The collision involving two smaller vehicles and the 18 wheeler occurred on the North Sam Houston Tollway/Beltway 8 in Houston near Antoine Drive. CHARLTON, MA – A semi trailer truck hauling a cargo of baking flour overturned Friday morning, May 28, 2010, on a highway in Worcester County, Massachusetts. The truck accident happened on the Massachusetts Turnpike near the town of Charlton and created major traffic delays at the beginning of the Memorial Day weekend travel rush. The accident area is in the south central section of the state, southwest of the Worchester metro region, about 50 miles northeast of Hartford, Connecticut and about 53 miles west of Boston.

Traffic on the eastbound MA Turnpike came to a standstill immediately after the truck accident. A short time later local police opened up one lane while crews worked to clear the flour and truck.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL – A man was killed and his passenger injured when the SUV they were traveling in was rear-ended by a semi trailer truck in Volusia County, Florida early Wednesday morning, May 26, 2010. The truck accident happened near the city of New Smyrna Beach, FL on Interstate 95 and State Route 9, just south of State Route 44. The accident area is in the north central section of the state, about 56 miles northeast of Orlando and about 15 miles south of Daytona Beach.

Several departments responded to the truck-car collision, including Florida Highway Patrol, Volusia County Sheriffs, and Edgewater Police.
At around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning 50 year old Terry L. Eveleth of McFarland, Kansas was driving a semi tractor trailer north on Interstate 95. At one point the truck driver was following a 1999 Chevrolet SUV on the interstate driven by an unidentified 60 year old male from Edgewater, FL and a female passenger.
As the truck driver neared the juncture with State Route 9 he slammed into the back of the SUV. It is not known at this time if the SUV had slowed down or if it malfunctioned in some way. ... Read More
LAKEVILLE, MN – A multi vehicle truck accident occurred on Monday morning, May 24, 2010, releasing thousands of honey bees on a highway in Dakota County, Minnesota, about 25 miles south of the Minneapolis-St Paul metro region. A semi trailer truck was transporting the bees, traveling on Interstate 35 when it was involved in an accident near the city of Lakeville, MN. The accident area is in the southeast section of the state, 39 miles west of Red Wing, MN and about 112 miles north of Clear Lake, Iowa.

The multi vehicle crash left the two cars demolished between the two 18 wheelers and the impact of the truck accident knocked several beehives off the flatbed of the Bauer truck, where they fell onto the highway and broke open.
Darren Straus, 37 years old of Fertile, MN, was driving a semi flatbed truck Monday morning north on I-35, carrying a cargo of honey bees from Mississippi, where they spent the winter, up to North Dakota for the summer. The bees are owned by Bauer Honey, Inc., based in Fertile, MN, and the truck was carrying hives on the flatbed trailer. The hives were holding about 17 million honey bees at the time. ... Read More
