WICHITA, Kansas — A train and semi truck accident occurred Thursday evening in North Wichita Kansas when a train hit the back of a semi truck stuck on the tracks. The accident happened at 37th Street North and Broadway.<\/p>\n

Semi truck stuck on tracks when crossing arms came down on it. Train hits back of truck<\/p><\/div>\n

Traffic in Wichita was backed up for some time Thursday evening due to a train accident.<\/p>\n

Police say a semi was stopped on the tracks when the crossing arms came down over it.<\/p>\n

The truck tried to move but couldn’t and was struck in the back end by the train.<\/p>\n

Fortunately no one was hurt in the accident.<\/p>\n
