Witnesses told the Amarillo police that the gray Toyota Camry was traveling westbound on 10th when it ran a red light, hitting the Penske moving truck.<\/p>\n

Source: Amarillo Globe News<\/a><\/p>\n The Camry acted as a wedge, flipping the Penske truck over on its side and blocking all lanes of traffic on Taylor Street.<\/p>\n The 74-year-old female passenger of the Camry was extricated from the wreckage. She, along with the 50-year-old driver of the Camry and the 29-year-old male driver of the Penske truck, was transported to the hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n Police said the injuries were not life-threatening.<\/p>\n The occupants in the Camry are Amarillo residents but the driver of the Penske truck, from Virginia Beach, Va., was traveling through town.<\/p>\n The streets in the area remained closed while police investigate the accident.
