The first incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. Thursday evening, July 21, near exit 337 when the driver of a pickup truck that was traveling south slowed down to avoid hitting something on the highway.<\/p>\n

An 18 wheeler tractor trailer that was following the pick up slowed down as well, but a second big rig failed to slow down and hit the preceding semi truck.<\/p>\n
The collision resulted in one of the semi truck\u2019s saddle fuel tanks rupturing. HazMat had to be called to the scene to handle the fuel spill.<\/p>\n
The second incident occurred at approximately 4:40 a.m.Friday, July 22, when two more semi trucks collided at exit 339.<\/p>\n
