<\/p>\nSAN ANTONIO, TX – An 18 wheeler truck carrying large concrete barriers dumped its load at the I-35 and Loop 410 interchange on Thursday, Aug 4, at around 4:30 a.m., strewing 45 tons of concrete slabs onto the highway, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

TxDOT workers were rushed to the scene to repair the damaged highway. They arrived on the scene at about 6 a.m. and worked into the afternoon to repair the roadway. The damage from the concrete barriers caused potholes that were about 6 to 8 inches deep.<\/p>\n

Police said it was unclear whether the truck collapsed under the weight of the load or if it rolled over.<\/p>\n
There were no injuries reported at the time of the accident.<\/p>\n
