GRAPEVINE, Texas — Police told the media that Dallas Cowboys nose tackle, Jay Ratliff, was arrested last week on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after the pickup he was driving was involved in a semi truck accident on Texas 114 in Grapevine.<\/p>\n

The accident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the 2800 block of Texas 114. Ratliff, who lives in Southlake, was driving a black 2011 Ford F-150 pickup when he attempted to change lanes.<\/p>\n

According to Grapevine Police Department, results of Jay Ratliff\u2019s blood alcohol test, taken shortly after he crashed, showed a blood-alcohol level of .16 or twice the legal limit. In Texas, someone with a 0.08 BAC is considered legally intoxicated.<\/p>\n

Just about six weeks earlier, Ratliff attended the funeral of former teammate Jerry Brown, who was killed after a speeding car driven by Dallas nose tackle, Josh Brent, crashed in Irving. According to police, Brent was driving drunk, and he has been indicted on a charge of intoxication manslaughter.<\/p>\n
