SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. — The City of Siloam Springs reported that two people were taken to the hospital with injuries after a flatbed semi truck reared-ended the back of a cement truck on a highway near the Oklahoma-Arkansas border.<\/p>\n

Two people were hospitalized after a semi truck smacked into the rear of a cement truck on the eastbound side of U.S. Highway 412 in West Siloam Springs, OK just inside the Arkansas\/Oklahoma border on May 6, 2013. The tractor trailer was completely demolished.<\/p><\/div>\n

According to information released by Holland Hayden, communications director for the City of Siloam Springs, the accident occurred on Monday, May 6, at 8:50 a.m. on eastbound U.S. Highway 412, two miles west of the Oklahoma-Arkansas state line.<\/p>\n

The Siloam Springs Fire Department sent a rescue crew to the scene. The crew pulled the two injured from the wreckage and transported them to Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.<\/p>\n

The incident remains under investigation at this time.<\/p>\n
