PINE BLUFF, AR — A log truck truck driver traveling on the Interstate 530 near Pine was killed when he lost control of his truck and overturned. The victim was identified as 55-year old Michael White of Magnolia, approximately 110 miles southwest of Pine Bluff.<\/p>\n

According to Arkansas State Police, the accident occurred at 10:47 a.m. Friday, April 26, where White was driving a 1995 Mack tractor-trailer loaded with logs. As White turned onto the 46-mile exit, he lost control of the truck which left the roadway and overturned \u2013 spilling the logs and trapping the driver. White died at the scene.<\/p>\n

The media reported that weather was clear and the road was dry.<\/p>\n

The investigation was conducted by Officer Chris Kendrick of the Pine Bluff Police Department.<\/p>\n
