HOUSTON, TX — An 18-wheeler and passenger car collided on August 22 in South Houston, killing one person in the passenger car.<\/p>\n

The accident occurred at about 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning, August 22, on Almeda Genoa Rd. near Cullen Blvd, when an 18-wheeler collided with a sedan, crushing the side of the car and sending it off the road. According to the police, one person in the sedan was killed.<\/p>\n

The cause of the accident and the identity of the victim have not been released at this time.<\/p>\n

The incident remains under investigation at this time.<\/p>\n
