SAN ANTONIO, TX – A semi truck driver lost control of his big rig when he tried to slow down after he felt his 18-wheeler pulling to the right due to the load of limes in the trailer. It was estimated that there were 40,000 lbs of limes in the semi trailer.<\/p>\n

The accident occurred about 3:00 a.m. Oct. 3, 2013 when a semi truck on the transition ramp from the northbound I-37 to the westbound U.S. 90 lost control and tipped over.<\/p>\n

The transition ramp was on a curve. The trucker tried to slow down when he felt the truck pulling to the right due to the load of limes in the trailer. It was estimated that there were 40,000 lbs of limes int he semi trailer.<\/p>\n

The transition ramp was closed until about 1:00 p.m. when it was reopend.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
