AURORA, CO. – A woman suspected of driving while under the influence (DUI) on Wednesday evening, Dec 28, could possibly face drunk driving charges for allegedly causing a multiple vehicle crash involving an Aurora fire truck.
Authorities report that the scene of the accident occurred about 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of East 6th Ave. and Del Mar Circle.

According to Aurora Police Lt. Chuck DeShazer, the female driver of a Toyota sedan that was stuck in traffic on eastbound 6th Ave. suddenly pulled out of traffic, sideswiped two cars, and crossed into the westbound lanes of 6th Ave., directly in front of the 68,000-pound fire truck which was responding to another incident at the time
